Sheepskin-palm batting gloves from MRF's Genius line, worn in the Shubman Gill signature colourway. Traditional roll fingers, split-thumb protection and HD foam padding built for hard-ball cricket. Right and left hand, junior through adult. Held in NZ stock and shipped same business day.
MRF Genius Prince Cricket Batting Gloves
The Genius Prince sits in the upper-middle of MRF's glove range - a proper hard-ball glove with a sheepskin palm and full traditional roll protection, without the price of a players-grade pair. It's the glove most club cricketers and serious age-group players should be looking at.
Who these gloves suit
Good fit for: club cricketers in senior grades, age-group representative players, and anyone stepping up from an entry-level glove who is now facing genuine pace. The traditional sausage roll design gives more finger coverage than the low-profile gloves aimed at T20 batting.
Probably not the right glove if: you play mostly indoor or soft-ball cricket as the padding is heavier than you need, and a lighter indoor glove will feel better. If you want minimum bulk for wristy, fast-hands batting, look at a low-profile glove instead.

MRF sizing runs close to standard. Full charts for bats, pads, helmets and gloves are on our cricket equipment size guide.
Which hand do I order?
Order the dexterity that matches how you bat, not your writing hand. A right-handed batter - left shoulder facing the bowler - orders right hand. The bottom hand carries the extra side bar and TPU protection, so getting this wrong means the reinforcement sits on the wrong glove.
Caring for leather batting gloves
Air them out after every innings rather than sealing them in your kit bag - trapped sweat is what kills a sheepskin palm. Don't machine wash and don't dry them on a heater or in direct sun, which stiffens and cracks the leather. Wearing cotton inner gloves will roughly double the life of the palm.
Frequently asked questions
Are these genuine MRF gloves?

Do you have stock in New Zealand?
Yes, this product ships from our New Zealand stock, not from overseas. Orders placed on a business day are typically dispatched the same day.
